Fire at Franconia Sculpture Park & the Bee Yard

Many thanks to the 5 fire departments that put out the fire set by a blown transformer south of Franconia Sculpture Park. Strong 30-40mph winds blew the fire right up to the Franconia Property but they were able to save all the structures, bee yard and only lost one sculpture. The bees flew off at the smell of smoke. We’re hoping they come back but not too hopeful. It was terrifying, but so grateful to our local fire departments!
